Enjoy sleepy fishing villages and beautiful views, stretching all the way to Simon’s Town, on this gentle road run, with trail options.

The meeting point for this run is Muizenberg Beach, Surfer’s Corner.  From here we run along the beach promenade through St James towards Kalk Bay, greeting the fishermen and seals in the harbour on the way.

Now it’s time to choose: we can either cruise up to Boyes Drive and run back along the tar for some more sensational views of False Bay, or we can spice things up and and venture a little further up into the mountains behind Clovelly for some beautiful trail running paths.

The distance can be adapted from a 7km road run along Boyes drive, to around 10km (or more) if you’d like to include some trail running in the mountains.  And, if time allows, you can end your run with a refreshing dip in the sea and some “lekker” coffee on the beach at Muizenberg!
